This one is very rare! Not only is it chip and crack free, but it boasts a very rare makers mark. The mark "A. Meakin" dates back to the first years of production, around 1873! It's derived from the former mark "C & A. Meakin", on this piece you can see where the "C &" was removed. A rare glimpse into a transitional period of the company.
